BIG THINGS COME FROM small places!
Perham Minnesota is a small rural community, many people come to vacation and many return to live. The question raised is, can anything good and big come from a small place? The answer is ABSOLUTELY! Just remember it was Bethlehem, not Jerusalem that Jesus came from, It was Capernahum not Caesarea that Jesus based His ministry. Our philosophy as a church is Why Not In Perham? From a small town we have a big vision that has impacted the nations with missionaries that have gone forth from Perham. We have also been blessed to bring in and listen to many leading preachers, teachers and musicians in our country today. Pastor Dirk Currier
Pastor Dirk has been serving as Senior Pastor of Northwoods Assembly for 7 years. Prior to that he served as Associate and Youth & Childrens Pastor at the church for the preceeding 8 years. He also serves as chaplain at the Brainerd International Raceway in Brainerd, Minnesota. Pastor Dirk and his wife Bobbie and family moved to Perham 15 years ago from Chicago where they pastored a church near Midway Airport as well as started one of the first church outreaches to skateboarders on the Northside of Chicago. Dirk is ordained with the Assemblies of God and has been in the ministry for nearly 25 years. He has 3 children, April, Ali, and Nathan. "I look forward to meeting you at Northwoods Assembly soon!"
